In collaboration with the UCD Graphics Laboratory, co-directors Dr. Choi and Dr. Brian DeLevie have partnered with Comcast to open the Comcast Media and Technology Center, a $5 million, 1900 square-foot research, art, and technology center within the Tivoli Student Union. Based on cooperation between the College of Arts & media and the College of Engineering and Applied science, this research-based center for innovation provides a new opportunity to integrate art and science to develop new technologies in animation, robotics, physical simulation, augmented/virtual reality, and game design.
